This installation is done via various interfaces (RS232, CAN, ETHERNET), all of which WIDIAG can handle. Another function is machine parameterisation, where a connection is established via CAN bus or Ethernet and the machine data can then be checked and set. As with machine parameterisation, a connection is established via CAN bus or Ethernet for machine diagnostics. As soon as the machine data has been read out, it can be analysed online in various ways. It is possible to view the values via the function groups or the user can create his or her own watch list for machine diagnostics. With the help of a watch list, it is also possible to record measured values over a certain period of time in order to analyse this recording later. In this way, sporadically occurring errors can be better recognised. As a fourth functionality, WIDIAG can be used to generate an IPR release code. With this IPR release code, the display on a Wirtgen Group machine1 can be temporarily enabled for certain parameterisations. In this way, current values (min. and max. currents of the hydraulic components) can be changed and options can be enabled. Note: Not all machines have the IPR code functionality implemented.
