The burlap bag is approximately 27 inches by 42 inches. One side bears the eagle and swastika emblem, while the opposite side bears the date of 1943 and the designation of “H. Vpfl” (for “Heeresverpflegung“ or “Army Supply Service”). The bag shows spots and soiling from field use, but it is without holes or damage.
