This iconic vintage watch is in great collectable condition. It was fully serviced in 2023 but has not been worn much since then. It has an almost new black bezel and comes on a never worn pull-through period linnen diver strap, which like the watch is from the 1970’s. A period that saw much innovations like the very light weight case (bakelite / early plastic) which is complete and measure 45mm wide (including the screw down original crown with yellow stripe). This is a first generation case. It has a small crack on the weakest point above the crown. Later cases have a small part removed here (because all cases cracked). The watch works perfectly including quick-set date (as shown in the pictures). The dial is near mint with a small blemish in the 20 minutes mark only. Hands and crystal are like new with exact same color fill as the hour markers, the bezel clicks very crisply. I would not recommend taking it in the water since it was only good for 10 Atm in the first place, no guarantee on being waterproof. When they needed service or adjustment this has been done by a professional watchmaker. I do not keep paperwork on every separate watch. I cannot give a long guarantee on vintage watches since it depends on how careful they are handled. Sometimes rough shipment can hurt them, no matter how well I package them. I will always take them back when there are problems upon receiving or in the first weeks of use. Please treat your vintage watch as a precious old timer car. Do not go out in the rain, play sports with them or take them on long holidays. Do buy a good watch box to keep them in and change your strap in time. Wear them for a few days at a time and change them out. Do not set the date when the hands are within a few hours before or after 12 o’ clock.
